II. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BERBUS SERVICE

This document outlines the terms and conditions under which Follow me! provides the combined transport service BERBUS to the Passenger who places an order for themselves or on behalf of themselves and other passengers. The service involves combining several Passengers who have flights from Berlin Brandenburg Airport at a similar time and transporting them to this airport by Follow me! in a way that enables each of them to make their flight check-in. Users are picked up from addresses they specify at a time determined by Follow me!, which may differ by up to 2 hours from the preferred time indicated by the User (shown as “Departure Time” on the www.followme.pl website in the BERBUS service order form). In the case of picking up Users from Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the order of dropping off individual passengers is determined by the carrier Follow me!.

1. INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION

What are BERBUS rides? This is a ridesharing service (combining rides) that fits into the trends of sustainable development. The User uses the website www.followme.pl in the BERBUS tab to specify the travel conditions: the day (date), the preferred departure time (which is listed in the order form as “Departure Time”), the flight time, and the pickup address. Follow me! then selects the other Users and organizes a combined trip so that everyone makes it in time for their flight check-in. Thanks to this solution, the User gets a trip tailored to their preferences, and by combining several Users into one transfer, the cost of the ride is shared among all Users. The trip is serviced by a modern and comfortable minibus or bus. During the ride, there is an opportunity to use free Wi-Fi. Follow me! reserves the right to change the means of transport from a Mercedes V-class to another if deemed necessary.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE BERBUS SERVICE

2.1. Placing an Order

To place an order for the BERBUS service, visit www.followme.pl, then select the BERBUS tab. In the respective fields, enter the following: in the “From:” field – the User’s pickup address/Berlin Brandenburg, in the “To:” field – Berlin Brandenburg/User’s drop-off address, in the “Departure:” field – the date of departure, in the “Departure Time:” field – the preferred departure time. In the “Passengers:” field, specify the number of adult passengers and the number of children.

In the next step, the User is redirected to the “Trip Selection” page. At this stage, they will see the cost of the trip and general options, such as the number of reserved seats (as indicated by the passengers in the previous step) and the number of luggage pieces (depending on the number of indicated passengers), and make their selection using the “Select” option.

In the following step, the User provides the details of each passenger. At this stage, they can also access additional options. Additional options include choosing a child seat depending on weight, equipment (ski equipment, bicycle, baby stroller, musical equipment), and extra luggage (from 15 to 32 kg). Additional options are charged, and prices are visible next to each of them. In the “Your Journey” field, you can check the total cost of the trip, including the selected additional options.

In the next step, after selecting additional options, the User proceeds to the summary by clicking on the “Proceed to Summary” field.

In the “Summary and Payment” tab, you need to provide the details of the person booking the trip and tick the appropriate consents for processing data to make the payment for the trip.

The last step is to make a payment. To do this, click on the “Pay Now…” field. The system automatically redirects the User to the payment gateway, where, by selecting the appropriate form, the User will pay for the trip.

After making the payment, a payment confirmation will be sent to the specified email.

At this stage, the User’s role ends. During this time, Follow me! sets individual information, and then, on the day before the trip, contacts the User to inform them about the final pickup time from the specified address.

2.2. Passenger Pickup

The pickup time for each Passenger is determined by Follow me!, taking into account the time needed to reach the Berlin Brandenburg Airport and the time required for each User’s airport check-in. When picking up Users from Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the pickup time is set by Follow me!, considering the arrival times of Users qualified for the scheduled shared ride. In an extraordinary situation, such as a flight delay, the driver waits for the User for a maximum of 10 minutes from the time set as the departure time.

The BERBUS service driver stops right outside the terminal T-1 at the glass shelters located at the arrivals level. An illustrative map of the way to the parking lot can be found here: (link to the map). The price of the ride depends on the pickup/drop-off location of the User in the Szczecin area.

2.3. Order Cancellation

The client has the right to cancel the BERBUS service order at no cost if the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the date of travel. In case of cancellation within 7 to 3 days before the scheduled departure, the client is entitled to a refund of 90% of the ticket value. If the trip is canceled 2 days before the scheduled departure, the client is entitled to a refund of 80% of the ticket value. However, if the client cancels the trip up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure, they are entitled to a 5% refund of the ticket value. Free cancellation is also possible when the departure time proposed by the User differs from the one set by Follow me! by more than 2 hours.

2.4. Payment

For Users using the BERBUS service, this is a 100% prepayment. Payment must be made via the website at the end of the service reservation process. In the case of a phone reservation, the service must be paid for at least 48 hours before the planned trip.

2.5. COVID-19 Procedures

Booking a Ticket made by the Passenger is equivalent to accepting the COVID-19 procedures in Follow me! vehicles described in detail on the website: COVID-19 Procedures in Follow me! vehicles.
