Terms and Conditions for Individual Transport Services Follow me! – SMART Taxi
Appendix No. 2 to the Contractual Transport Conditions
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
This document outlines the terms and conditions under which Follow me! provides individual transport services to the User, who places an order for themselves or on behalf of themselves and Passengers. The service involves transporting the User using a Follow me! car with a driver from a pick-up location specified by the User to a designated destination.
II. SMART TAXI
1. INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION
1.1 Do you appreciate the comfort of individual SMART Taxi rides? This is a flagship service from Follow me! Your ride will be served by a modern Mercedes V-class or another brand vehicle of the same standard. The service will be carried out by an experienced driver. During the ride, you will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi.
1.2 To ensure the maximum level of safety for passengers and company employees, we have implemented special sanitary procedures to counteract COVID-19. As a result, some services (e.g., picking up passengers directly from the arrival gate) may be suspended or offered optionally.
2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
2.1. PLACING AN ORDER
Orders from individual clients should be sent to biuro@followme.pl. Orders from companies should be sent to rezerwacje@followme.pl. The order must include the following information: the passenger’s first and last name, contact phone number, exact pick-up address, exact drop-off address, time, and flight number in the case of airport transfers.
A Follow me! employee will confirm the receipt of the SMART Taxi booking and simultaneously send a confirmation of the service, including the date, address, and time of passenger pick-up, as well as the price of the ride.
Follow me! guarantees acceptance and execution of an order placed at least two days before the journey commences. Orders placed in a shorter time frame are confirmed based on vehicle availability.
An order for passenger transport placed 24 hours or less before the journey begins will incur a 10% increase in the price of the ride.
2.2. PASSENGER PICK-UP
The pick-up time for each passenger is set by Follow me!, taking into account the time needed to reach the destination. For airport transfers, the time needed for airport check-in is considered.
In SMART Taxi rides, the driver remains at the passenger’s disposal and waits for them even in cases of delays caused by the passenger. The first 30 minutes of waiting for the passenger are free of charge. Each additional hour started incurs a fee of 39 PLN gross.
Passenger pick-up from the airport takes place at the arrival gate unless sanitary regulations and epidemiological restrictions require a different location. Any potential change in location will be communicated to the client via SMS or phone call.
The SMART Taxi fare includes the pick-up of passengers from two addresses within the city of Szczecin. Each additional pick-up is subject to a fee of 9 PLN gross. Each pick-up from an address outside of Szczecin is subject to an individual quote provided by a Follow me! employee accepting the order.
In the case of pick-up from the city of Berlin, the fare includes picking up passengers from one address. Each additional pick-up incurs a fee of 49 PLN gross for pick-up from a second airport and 29 PLN for pick-up from another address in Berlin.
2.2.1 TRANSPORTATION OF ANIMALS
The transport of small dogs is allowed. Animal carriers must be used for this purpose.
2.3. PUNCTUALITY GUARANTEE
Always on time at the specified address – this is one of Follow me!’s main priorities. According to this principle, if the passenger pick-up is delayed by more than 10 minutes and the client or passenger has not been informed of the expected delay, the ride will be carried out free of charge.
2.4. CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF ORDER
The client has the right to cancel a SMART Taxi order free of charge up to 3 hours before a journey starting in Szczecin and up to 6 hours before a journey starting in Berlin. Cancellation reported after this period will incur a fee of 100% of the price.
The client has the right to change the ride time free of charge up to 3 hours before the start of the original order in the case of journeys starting in Szczecin and up to 6 hours before the start of the original order in the case of journeys starting in Berlin. Changing the ordered ride time after this period is equivalent to canceling the ride. A request for a new time is treated as a new request and is subject to the order acceptance process from scratch.
2.5. PAYMENT
The payment terms for the ordered SMART Taxi ride correspond to the previously negotiated terms by companies. In the case of individual clients, a 100% prepayment is required.
