Terms of provision of individual journey services Follow me! – Business Taxi
Appendix No. 1 to the Regulations of Contractual Transport Conditions
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
This document sets out the terms and conditions under which Follow me! provides an individual transfer service to the User placing an order on their own behalf or on behalf of themselves and Passengers. The service consists of transporting the User by means of a Follow me! car together with a driver from the pickup location specified by the User to the specified destination.
The service is offered in the following class: Business Class
II. BUSINESS TAXI
INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION
1.1 Do you appreciate the comfort of individual Business Taxi transfers? This is Follow me!’s flagship service. Your ride will be provided in a modern Mercedes E-Class or a vehicle of another brand of the same standard. The service will be performed by an experienced driver who will pick you up at the arrivals gate at the airport. During the journey, you will be able to use free Wi-Fi.
1.2 In order to ensure the highest possible level of safety for passengers and company employees, we have implemented special sanitary procedures to counteract COVID-19. Consequently, some services (e.g. picking up a passenger directly at the arrivals gate) may be suspended or provided on an optional basis.
TERMS OF SERVICE
2.1. PLACING AN ORDER
Orders from individual customers should be sent to: biuro@followme.pl. Orders from companies should be sent to: rezerwacje@followme.pl. The order must include the following details: passenger’s full name, contact phone number, exact pickup address, exact destination address, and flight time and flight number in the case of transfers from or to the airport.
A Follow me! employee confirms acceptance of the Business Taxi transfer request and at the same time sends confirmation of service performance, including the date, address and time of passenger pickup as well as the fare.
Follow me! guarantees acceptance and fulfillment of orders submitted at least two days before the beginning of the journey. Orders submitted with shorter notice are confirmed depending on vehicle availability.
An order for passenger transport placed within 24 hours or less before the start of the journey results in a 10% increase in the fare.
2.2. PASSENGER PICKUP
The pickup time for each passenger is determined by Follow me!, taking into account the time needed to reach the destination. In the case of transfers to airports, the time required for airport check-in procedures is also taken into account.
For business-class transfers, the driver remains at the passenger’s disposal and also waits for the passenger in the event of circumstances causing the passenger’s delay. The first 30 minutes of waiting time are free of charge. Each subsequent commenced hour is charged at PLN 39 gross.
Passenger pickup from the airport takes place at the arrivals gate, unless sanitary regulations and epidemiological restrictions require a different location. The customer will be informed of any change in location by SMS or by telephone.
The Business Taxi fare includes pickup of passengers from two addresses within the city of Szczecin. Each additional pickup is subject to a fee of PLN 9 gross. Each pickup from an address outside Szczecin is subject to an individual quotation presented by the Follow me! employee accepting the order.
In the case of pickup from the city of Berlin, the fare includes pickup of passengers from one address. Each additional pickup is subject to a fee of PLN 49 gross for pickup from a second airport and PLN 29 gross for pickup from another address in the city of Berlin.
2.2.1 TRANSPORT OF ANIMALS
Transport of small dogs is permitted. In such cases, pet carriers must be used. Transport of a dog is subject to a fee of PLN 29.
2.3. PUNCTUALITY GUARANTEE
Always on time at the specified address – this is one of Follow me!’s main priorities. In line with this principle, if passenger pickup is delayed by more than 10 minutes and the ordering party or passenger has not been informed of the expected delay, the transfer will be provided free of charge.
2.4. CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF ORDER
The customer has the right to cancel a Business Taxi order free of charge up to 3 hours before the journey starts in Szczecin and up to 6 hours before the journey starts in Berlin or Goleniów. A cancellation reported after this deadline is subject to a charge of 100% of the price. Cancellations after office hours must be made by telephone at: +48 600 499 411.
The customer has the right to change the transfer time free of charge up to 3 hours before the start of the originally ordered journey in the case of journeys starting in Szczecin, and up to 6 hours before the start of the originally ordered journey in the case of journeys starting in Berlin or Goleniów. A change of the ordered transfer time after this deadline is equivalent to cancellation of the transfer. An inquiry for a new time is treated as a new inquiry and is subject again to the order acceptance process.
2.5. PAYMENT
The payment terms for the ordered Business Taxi transfer correspond to the terms previously negotiated with companies. In the case of individual customers, this is 100% prepayment.
